Buttercream/Brite White Decorating Icing
Pour powder sugar into large bowl. In order, add each of the ingredients one at at time, mixing VERY WELL after each. Scrape bowl often. After final ingredient is mixed in, continue mixing & scraping bowl for 5 minutes
Icing will be thick & fluffy. Makes enough to frost a 10" x 14" cake, to ice the borders and to finish decorating the cake top.
HINTS:
Bake cake, make fresh icing & frost the cake right after it cools. Put in frig to keep cake moist & allow icing to firm. Color remaining icing & refrigerate until ready to decorate.
I usually use tip #4 for writing, #5 or 6 for outlining a drawing, #21 for shell borders
