Strawberry Pie

From the Kitchen of: Grandma Billlie


Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened and clear, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add gelatin powder. As the mixture begins to thicken, stir in the strawberries and pour into the pie shell. Chill the pie at least 4 hours, then top with whipped cream or whipped topping and garnish with reserved strawberry halves.
