Pumpkin Seeds

taken from valerie bertinelli’s recipe instructions!  https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/valerie-bertinelli/sweet-and-salty-pepitas-3161531...

Preheat oven to 400 DEGREES

Clean the seeds of as much pulp as possible. (let them sit on the counter in a cookie sheet, for an hour-ish)

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and lightly oil the foil.

Based on about 1.5 to 2 cup seeds:  Melt 1 tsp (a little less?) butter in a saute pan over medium heat. Add the seeds, stir to coat, and then stir in about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt. Spread seeds on the prepared baking sheet in 1 layer.

Bake until crisp and golden brown, approx 8-12 min, stir once half-way thru cook time... careful, watch them, so they don't start to burn. Let cool completely.
