Hot Cocoa

In large saucepan, stir sugar & cocoa very well, breaking up all clumps. Turn to med-low heat & gradually add about 1/3 cup milk, stirring constantly to make a smooth paste. Use a spatula & stirring spoon to keep pan scraped.

Increase to medium heat, & slowly stir in remaining milk. Continuing cooking, stirring frequently, until hot - takes about 15 minutes ('bout 25-30 min for double-recipe) DO NOT BOIL.

MAKE AHEAD in CROCK POT...  In large saucepan, stir sugar & cocoa very well, breaking up all clumps. Turn to med-low heat & gradually add about 1/3 cup milk, stirring constantly to make a smooth paste. Use a spatula & stirring spoon to keep pan scraped. Increase to medium heat, & slowly stir in about half of the milk. Pour into crockpot, add remaining milk & squirt some Hershey's Dark Chocolate syrup, stir well. Pour mini marshmellows on top, cover on low. Ready in about an hour, and/or keep on low for a few hours.
