Cornish Hens

Prepare paste: generously sprinkle seasonings over top of butter, stir to blend. *Using saran wrap, roll into a log and refrigerate to harden.
Wash hens. With long spoon or fingers, create pockets between skin and meat. Divide the log into 8 slices & insert into hen pockets. Insert 2 pieces of butter into each cavity and sprinkle inside w/ Table Blend Seasoning. Place on broiler pan.
Rub entire outerskins w/ oil. Turn bottom-up and broil on high for 10 min. Turn top-up, sprinkle paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min. Check temp in thigh joint, between leg & thigh, if necessary continue cooking till temp reaches about 155-ish degrees. Remove from oven, cover w/ foil, let rest 10 min. Check temp, should be about 165 degrees. DRAIN juice from hens before putting on plates.
Serve with rice pilaf. Serves 4
