*PASTA SAUCE Options

Pick 2 jars of pasta sauce, any flavor. Grill sausage & chop all the vegies. Then slice/chop grilled sausage (I usually slice, then quarter the slices).

CROCKPOT (2-3 quart): Add Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a medium fry pan, on medium-low heat. Drop a vegie in the oil to watch for a light sizzle, then add vegies & optional seasonings: garlic, oregano, parsley flakes,hot pepper flakes... Stir to coat & cook about 2-3 min. Remove from heat & add chopped grilled sausage, stir to coat all.

Into the crock, pour 1 jar sauce, add the vegies, then the 2nd jar of sauce. Stir well & Cook on LOW at least 3-4 Hrs, may stay on Low or Warm for longer.

STOVETOP:   Add Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a medium/large pot on medium-low heat. Drop a vegie in the oil to watch for a light sizzle, then add vegies & optional seasonings: garlic, oregano, parsley flakes,hot pepper flakes... Stir to coat & cook about 2-3 min. Add the sliced/chopped sausage

Carefully pour in sauces, stir well, cover and start heat on Low or Medium. Cook on Low for 6-7 hours, no stir necessary.  Or cook on Medium heat for 3 hrs, stirring 2 or 3 times, to avoid bottom burning.
